Photoshoot Time - Barrett & Coe Southport
I was given the opportunity by Emma's Diary to go to a family photoshoot at Barrett & Coe in Southport.
I was really excited to get our Sophie into the studio and get some beautiful photo's of her, she is such a poser! (When she wants to be)
We were met at the studio by the lovely Dave and Claire who were really welcoming and lovely to talk to. They also have their studio doggy (George) who is so friendly. Don't worry if you're not a fan of dogs, George will sit in his little pen if you'd rather! Dave and Claire were amazing at making sure Sophie and myself were happy in the studio!
After sitting down and discussing the type of photo's we went into the studio area to get set up and snapping! Dave was brilliant at making sure Sophie was comfortable and that I was comfortable with where we had Sophie sitting/posing. The room was kept to a perfect temperature, which I think is really important to mention considering how hot is has been!Â
We had a few outfit changes, pose changes and different toys. The photo session took about 45 minutes - 1 hour, this obviously depends on how your little one is performing and what kind of shots you want to take!
It took Dave about 30 minutes to an hour to get the photo's ready for viewing (it is also possible to do your viewing on a different day if you don't want to hang around). We went into the viewing room where I had a chance to look at the prices, they are really reasonable compared to some studio prices! And I love the fact that there is the option to purchase on credit if you don't have the money upfront for your beautiful photo's!
There are a lot of different options for you to purchase, including size, presentation, frames etc. there will definitely be something for you!
I think it's really important to mention as well that your images ARE NOT deleted when you leave the studio for 'data protection'. This is a marketing technique a lot of studios use to make you buy your images there and then. With Barrett & Coe you can go back any time (even in a few years) to buy those images.
We entered the Baby of the Month competition which is held with Emma's Diary through Barrett & Coe, if you win Baby of the Month you get a £50 voucher, the winners go through to win Baby of the Year, where you could win £5000!
I absolutely loved our visit to Barrett & Coe studio and I really do think we will be back again in future to get some more family shots when Sophie is a little older! Dave & Claire in the Southport branch are super friendly and definitely take care of their customers (and I'd love to see George again!)
