With this absolutely gorgeous weather, here's a few things I like to do to keep my 4 month old cool, she's always been a warm baby, so a lot of these were done from birth.

This week I've really concentrated on finding ways to keep my baby cool, she's only 5 months old so I'm limited to what she can/can't do, and obviously she can't tell me if she's too hot/cold.
Here's an A-Z between myself and other parents out there for keeping your baba cool in the hot weather:
A
Bath fun - take that baby bath outside in the sun and have your own little paddling pool fun!
Cool packs - put a wheat bag in the freezer and then wrapped and with them to keep them cool. Just keep an eye on them as not safe with babies but work a treat! (Jen, www.justaveragejen.com)
Damp flannel - wiping a damp flannel on your babies forehead every now and then will reduce their body temperature (Sal, www.hellolittlelovely.com)
E
Fans - have a routine at night where we get ready for bed and have the fan on in our room to cool the room down for about ten minutes before we go in there. (Lianne, www.hellomummyharris.co.uk)
G Hat - wearing a hat will keep the sun off your little ones head! (Lynne, www.newmummyblog.com)
Ice lollies - did you know you can make formula/breastmilk ice lollies? (Emma, www.emmareed.net)
J
K
Lightweight clothing - make sure they are wearing loose fitting clothing to allow any breeze to touch their skin
M
Naked - there's no problem with keeping your baby in just a nappy to stay cool! (Ayse, www.arepops.com)
O
Portable Fan - get a miniture portable fan to attach to the pram/cot/seats. (Rebecca, www.mygirlsandmesite.com)
Quench thirst - extra intake of milk and also fruit (if weaned) can be a great way of staying hydrated.
Reduce layers - no matter how cute those outfits are, the less layers the better! (Sarah, www.mummycatnotes.com)
Shade - keeping in the shade, no matter how hot the sun is will definitely help with the sweats! (Lyndsey, www.mehimthedogandababy.com)
Tommee Tippee Sippy Cups - we have a sip training cup which is perfect for little ones who are just starting on juice etc
Umbrella - make sure you set up umbrellas or parasols in your garden/on the pram to make some extra shade to keep them cool!
V
White clothes - light or white coloured clothing to reflect the heat and sun (Emma, www.readyfreddiego.com)
